Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology required
• Military Medical Laboratory Procedures course (50 weeks min) with MLS SAMS preferred
• 0-2 years of acute care laboratory experience required

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high-complexity laboratory tests with accurate reporting
• Adheres to quality control protocols and analyzes data
• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments and performs preventive maintenance
• Uses laboratory information systems for data entry and retrieval
• Collects, processes, and documents urine drug screens as required
• Maintains PPE and follows safety regulations
• Assists with phlebotomy duties and collaborates with team
• Maintains accurate records and statistics per regulatory standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies
