Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Delivery Driver (LSR) in Hammond for full-time evening shifts. You will drive a company vehicle, deliver lab specimens, medical records, and other healthcare items, while maintaining client relationships and safety standards.

Responsibilities include using a handheld scanner, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and collaborating with the MedSpeed team to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company-owned vehicle
• Operate a handheld scanning device to track items through the transportation process
• Load and unload items and ensure a professional image with clients and the public
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle
• Adapt routes based on client needs and work with teammates and clients
