Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Delivery Driver to join our Charlottesville team. The role involves weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday) from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, operating a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical supplies, and related materials.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must pass initial/random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Clean driving history and comfortable with varying weather.
• COVID-19 vaccination as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout transport.
• Load and unload vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Maintain professional image in interactions with clients and the public.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Collaborate with teammates and adapt to route changes as needed.
