MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Charlottesville, VA. The role is full-time with a non-commercial vehicle, shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Saturday to Sunday.

You will transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies in a company vehicle and use a handheld scanner for tracking. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inspections, maintaining a professional image, and collaborating with the MedSpeed team.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and mandates.
• Willingness to pass drug & alcohol screening and background checks.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Strong reliability and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport lab specimens, records, and supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures, and service schedules at all times.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load/unload items and perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstrate safe driving and teamwork across routes and clients.
• Adapt to varying routes, weights, and physical demands.
