Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a per diem Maintenance Technician for Saturday and Sunday in Chicago, IL. You will perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and prepare apartments for move-in, ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities include repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and landscaping; respond to emergencies; operate tools; and coordinate with residents. Valid driver's license and good communication are required; daily pay option available.

Qualifications

• No experience is required, though general mechanical knowledge is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and sense of accomplishment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders around the community.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to ready apartments for move-ins.
• Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and landscaping tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls.
• Follow safety and disaster procedures.
• Maintain common areas and mechanical spaces per policies.
• Transport residents for errands or trips as needed.
