Job summary

This on-site role reports to the Metals Operations Manager and demands hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document work orders.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with certifications required.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, and automated systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain equipment on the paint line and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and conveyors.
• Replace motors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, and controls as needed.
• Diagnose failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment installation and process improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records and parts usage documentation.
• Follow safety lockout/tagout procedures and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Operations teams.
