Job summary

National Beef is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician in North Baltimore, OH to join the on-site team Friday through Monday. Starting wages begin at $29.50/hour with a $1 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts and a $3.00/hour Perfect Attendance Bonus, with weekly payroll and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment, with industrial electrical and refrigeration experience preferred.

Qualifications

Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment.
Ability to use common hand tools.
Basic computer skills.
Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.
Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
Strong work ethic and eye for detail.
Exemplary safety record (with previous employer).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Industrial Electrical controls experience.
Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls.
Industrial Maintenance Experience.
Refrigeration Experience.
Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus.
Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems.
Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery.
Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection.
Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls.
Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
Other duties as assigned.
