Job summary

National Beef is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift in North Baltimore, OH. You will guide the maintenance team Friday through Monday, lead safety-focused repairs, and drive weekend projects to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to troubleshoot facility utilities and equipment
• Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to train employees and prioritize repairs
• Experience with PM schedules and safety policies
• Industrial maintenance and electrical controls knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide continual training to maintenance team members
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed by the team
• Provide project leadership and guidance to the maintenance team
• Set job priorities with supervision to meet production goals
• Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed
• Identify weekend project/repair work and drive weekend repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild or replace equipment and machinery as needed
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot/repair industrial electrical equipment and controls
• Log work activities for history and parts management
• Collaborate with management on maintenance issues across the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned
