Job summary

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician for our Lumberton, Mississippi facility. You will perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems to keep production running smoothly.

The role offers weekend hours with the potential for advancement and relocation opportunities. Candidates must have 4,000 hours of industrial maintenance experience and relevant certifications, plus a valid driver's

Qualifications

Minimum 4,000 hours of verifiable industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
Certification in hydraulics and pneumatics, crane and rigging, and wire and stick welding.
Proficient in power transmission systems, welding, bearings, and lubrication practices.
Working knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable state safety requirements.
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Follow safety protocols and promptly identify and report hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
Prepare machine centers and equipment for daily operation.
Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment using blueprints and manuals.
Document work orders and equipment history in CMMS.
Collaborate with operations personnel, electricians, engineers, and other trades to support production objectives.
