ACR is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our weekend shift in Westfield, MA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on production equipment, dismantle and install machinery as needed, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will read blueprints, assist with changeovers, and contribute to reduced downtime while following strict safety and housekeeping procedures. Saturday–Sunday plus Friday 7:00am–7:00pm schedule.

Competenze

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mill machines, and machine shop equipment.
Able to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
Able to read and write; able to understand policies, manufacturing orders (MOs), Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and other work instructions. Basic math and computer skills.
Preferred knowledge and certification in electrical and wiring with an E2 license. Experience troubleshooting PLCs and electrical controls.
Knowledge of fabrication and blueprinting skills is a plus, with experience in part creation for machine maintenance.
Able to effectively communicate for collaboration of work and delivery of supplies to and from machine as needed.
Excellent mechanical ability and manual dexterity.
Able to work with sharp tools and wear hearing protection as required.

Mansioni

Analyzes mechanical, electrical, and operational problems on assigned equipment, plans for and takes corrective action.
Preforms Scheduled Maintenance and reviews production schedule. When equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, performs scheduled maintenance.
Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection and rework.
Prove out equipment function after repairs, change overs or extended downtime.
Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
Reads and interprets blueprints to plan setup and operate lathes, milling machine, grinders, saws, and presses.
Plans setup and operates typical machine tools, producing parts to close tolerances and company specifications.
Other duties as assigned.
