Job summary

PCI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2 for the weekend B shift (Fri, Sat, Sun; 6:45pm–7:00am) in Rockford, IL. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, supporting packaging lines to ensure high-quality products while following PCI policies and procedures.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, basic math and computer skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Overtime and PPE usage may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging lines with adjustments to ensure a high-quality product.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• May require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Adhere to PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies and wear PPE/PAPR as needed.
