Job summary

The Kinetic Group in Lewiston, Idaho, seeks a Machinist/Millwright to repair and maintain production equipment, perform machine setup, and build or modify components to support quality and delivery goals.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and test machines, work with engineers and production staff, and operate tools in a high-precision environment on weekend swing shifts. Forklift and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a journey level machinist apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Must understand English and perform advanced math calculations.
• Ability to read blueprints and plan machine setups.
• Must have basic welding and hydraulic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate machine tools to fabricate or repair parts.
• Diagnose malfunctions with machinery and implement repairs on the production floor.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to resolve problems and improve efficiency.
