Petersen is seeking a machinist for weekend shifts in Farr West, Utah. The role involves building and machining parts from blueprints using manual and CNC machines, with opportunities across entry to advanced setup and programming levels.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and interpreting print requirements.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing preferred.
• Ability to learn increasingly complex print requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down projects.
• Machine parts from blueprints and work instructions.
• Safely operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform inspections using standard measuring equipment.
• Support training and continuous improvement efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
