Petersen in Ogden, UT is seeking a Machinist to set up and machine parts from blueprints using manual and CNC equipment. The role covers various skill levels from entry to advanced setup and programming.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, interpret tolerances, and operate equipment safely. Training and on-the-job programs are available, with benefits and the potential for continued development within the Petersen- A Precinmac community.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing preferred.
• Ability to learn increasingly complex print requirements.
• Technical schooling or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and take down projects.
• Machine parts from blueprints and work instructions.
• Safely operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform inspections using standard measuring equipment.
• Support training and continuous improvement efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
