Job summary

Petersen in Ogden, UT is seeking a Machinist to set up and machine parts from blueprints using manual and CNC equipment. The role covers various skill levels from entry to advanced setup and programming.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing preferred.
• Ability to learn increasingly complex print requirements.
• Technical schooling or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down projects.
• Machine parts from blueprints and work instructions.
• Safely operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform inspections using standard measuring equipment.
• Support training and continuous improvement efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
