Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current unencumbered state license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and laws governing nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Plan shift services, programs and activities with assigned staff.
• Complete and file required records upon admission, transfer or discharge.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
