Job summary
Genesis HealthCare – Casa Real in Santa Fe, NM seeks an experienced LPN Nursing Supervisor for weekend coverage. The role guides nursing operations, supports patient care quality, and collaborates with the DON to ensure 24/7 nursing coverage and staff development.

Qualifications
- Must be graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification (as required by state).
Responsibilities
- Leads clinical operations and care delivery across nursing units; ensures compliance with policies and standards.
- Collaborates with the DON to maintain adequate nursing coverage 24/7.
- Participates in interviewing nursing vacancies and assesses staff performance.
- Identifies staff educational needs and communicates with Nurse Practice Educator (NPE).
- Ensures assignments match staff competencies and patient needs.
- Supports the DON in strong Quality Improvement processes for the nursing department.
