Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for 24 hours per week. Shift: 12 Hour Nights on weekends in Medical Telemetry. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision, with emphasis on patient rights and confidentiality.

Mercy offers sign-on bonus eligibility up to $2,000 and a supportive team dedicated to compassionate, quality care. LPN licensure in Missouri is required or in progress, with BLS recommended.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• Experience: Experience preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri.
• Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
