Job summary

Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking an LPN or LPN-Graduate Nurse Resident to deliver patient care using the nursing process under supervision in Medical Telemetry.

This part-time role provides 24 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift (1900-0730) and may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $2,000.

Candidates must have an accredited practical nursing program, Missouri LPN license, BLS within 30 days, and be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Missouri LPN license in good standing with State Board requirements.
• Physical ability to push/pull 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform bending/kneeling/twisting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.

Education
