Job summary
Home Health Services of Virginia is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for evening or overnight weekend shifts in Henrico County, VA. The role offers 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm weekend coverage with no holiday shifts, enabling a strong work-life balance.
You will deliver in-home nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team to ensure continuity of care. VA LPN license and reliable transportation are required; home health experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN license in Virginia.
- Home health or related nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time during weekend shifts.
- Reliable transportation to visit patients in Henrico County.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in patients' homes according to care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health and report changes promptly.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease management.
