Job summary

Denton Nursing & Rehab is actively seeking a licensed practical nurse to work weekend shifts, delivering compassionate care that preserves residents' dignity and well-being. You will monitor conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The position offers flexible scheduling (full-time, PRN, or part-time), competitive benefits, a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time LPNs, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted LPN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Directs the daily activities of geriatric nursing assistants by current regulations and facility policies.
• Participates in admission, discharge, and transfers of residents as required.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status and notifies the physician and family or representative.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical records and carries out orders as written.
• Prepares and administers medications as per physician orders and observes for adverse effects.

Responsibilities
