Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to provide operational leadership for hourly staff, coordinate driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross dock activities at our Manteca location.

This role oversees scheduling, performance reviews, and process compliance while collaborating with customers and private fleet opportunities. The shift runs Friday through Sunday, 8:30am–9pm, with bonus eligibility based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly workforce and supervise daily operations including driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross docking.
• Monitor performance, attendance, and productivity; provide coaching or recognition as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, manage overtime, and optimize productivity targets.
• Maintain safety standards aligned with location policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop Continuous Improvement opportunities and support customer experience goals.
