The Bristal is seeking a creative Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and coordinate engaging recreational activities for assisted living residents, including those with dementia. You will help plan outings, prepare monthly communications, and support the recreation team in delivering meaningful experiences with hospitality at the core.

Qualifications

• One year’s prior experience working with a senior population.
• At least 6 months of Recreation activity experience (art therapy, music therapy) or event leadership experience.
• Be outgoing, warm and have a genuine caring personality.
• Able to create programs that get residents involved and excited.
• Be dependable and able to supervise activities, events and safe excursions for residents.
• Has creative talents in art, music, readings, dance, etc.
• Maintains oneself well-groomed and properly attired.
• Demonstrates good listening and communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to lead classes and speak in front of groups with confidence.
• Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist in presenting and coordinating recreational programs for residents and Reflections Memory Care residents.
• Plan fun and safe trips to art galleries, theatres, music venues, racetracks, sports events, religious and cultural programs.
• Prepare, print and distribute monthly calendars, newsletters and memos to residents.
