Job summary

Golden LivingCenters is seeking a Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality nursing care for our residents. This Baylor schedule requires Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-hour shifts, with incentive pay as per policy.

You will participate in care planning, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support discharge planning to promote resident comfort and outcomes. Weekend shifts offer competitive incentives and opportunities for growth within our facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification; CPR certification should be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• License in good standing with the state; no findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care focused on resident outcomes using the nursing process.
• Identify resident needs and input for discharge planning and follow-up throughout stay.
• Collaborate with resident/responsible party and care team to develop the plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care consistently, focusing on resident comfort and resources.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals sharing information to adjust care plans.
• Deliver and maintain optimum resident care by applying current nursing practice.

Baylor Schedule

Work three 12-hour shifts every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and receive Baylor incentive pay in accordance with company policy.

Opportunities are available to pick up additional shifts and earn incentive bonuses.

• Assure that effective quality nursing care is delivered which is outcome focused through utilization of the nursing process.
• Identify needs and provide input for discharge planning and follow-up throughout length of stay
• Assist with development of individualized plan of care in collaboration with the resident/responsible party and interdisciplinary care team
• Implement plan of care consistently, effectively and cost efficiently with focus on resident centered outcomes by utilizing all appropriate, available resources for resident, family or responsible party counseling and discharge planning.
• Work in collaboration with physician and other health care professionals by sharing information relevant to changing plan of care
• Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort by demonstrating knowledge and skills of current nursing practice

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification. Licensed nursing staff are required to obtain their CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• License in good standing with the state. Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
