City of Monona, Wisconsin is seeking a weekend library assistant to support librarians and serve patrons. The role averages 13 hours per week with a fixed schedule: Saturday 8:45 am–5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00–5:00 pm.
You will help with check-ins/outs, registrations, fees, and basic circulation desk tasks. Under supervision, you’ll handle computer tasks, assist patrons in locating materials, learn library software, and maintain confidentiality.
Under general supervision, assists library patrons, performs clerical tasks, and completes other library work as required. This is a weekend-only position, averaging 13 hours a week. The tentative schedule for this position is:
Saturday: 8:45 am–5:00 pm
Sunday: 1:00–5:00 pm
