Job Description

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a part-time Weekend Lead Cook position.

Location: Children's Mercy Kansas - 5808 W 110th Street, Leawood, KS 66211 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Saturday - Sunday, with some morning shifts required. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Experience as a prep cook and line cook preferred. Problem-solving and leadership skills are required.

Perks: No late nights! Work independently on a small team!

Pay Range: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare nutritious and flavorful food according to standards and regulations.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee cooking activities as assigned.
  • Prepare entrees and menu items following recipes.
  • Operate and clean equipment; perform routine cleaning.
  • Store, label, and organize food items.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety.
  • Maintain compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Participate in cross-training of staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
