Position Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning and monitoring hotel linens and terry by washing, drying, and ironing. Provides guest laundry services to Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and the Hotel in a timely manner, prioritizing safety for themselves and others.

Essential Job Functions

• Identify stained or damaged items for repair, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of laundered items and organize accordingly.
• Set dryers to appropriate times and temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness of lint and debris from machines.
• Fold and deliver linen to storage areas.
• Follow safety and security policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and guest interaction standards.
• Work independently and communicate professionally.
• Answer phones and ensure quality standards.
• Keep laundry surroundings clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements

Prior laundry experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
