Job summary

Laurel Lake is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide responsible for maintaining clean and pressed linens throughout the facility. The role requires weekend work and a 16-hour schedule, with adherence to laundry policies and strong teamwork to ensure unblemished linens.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push carts up to 250 lbs, and follow written or oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred.
• Ability to read warning labels and MSDS sheets.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold and stack laundry.
• Collect and sort dirty linens and laundry.
• Wash, dry, mangle and fold table linens.
• Replenish all supplies in assigned areas.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meetings.
• Adhere to attendance policies and work weekends and overtime when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
