Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Laundry Assistant to support daily operations in the facility. The role involves replenishing linen, collecting soiled laundry, and ensuring washing, drying, ironing, and folding of residents' clothing.

You will work with the Environmental Services team, attend meetings, maintain a neat appearance, and follow all facility policies. The position requires reliability, willingness to work every other weekend, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Attend Environmental Services Department meetings and inservices.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and hygiene.
• Read, know, and follow departmental and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes linen closets and carts at scheduled times.
• Collects soiled laundry and transports to laundry area.
• Assures washing, drying, ironing, and folding of patient clothing.
• Ensures laundry services meet resident needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
