Martha Franks Retirement Community is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to join our housekeeping team on weekends in Laurens, SC. You will collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and residents' clothing, ensuring comfort and dignity for residents.

This part-time weekend position emphasizes careful handling of textiles, infection control, and timely delivery to units, with on-site training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality is a plus but not required (on-the-job training provided).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to return items to residents correctly.
• Ability to lift/push laundry carts and stand for working periods.

Responsibilities

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing community linens and residents' personal clothing.
• Delivering clean laundry to units and returning items to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Maintain infection control and safety by handling textiles properly.
• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and stocked; operate washers/dryers safely.
