Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations during the weekend shift.
• Manage staff assignments and ensure timely, accurate testing and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and competency assessments for staff and address gaps.
• Monitor quality control and instrument performance to maintain test accuracy.
• Optimize staffing and supply usage within budget constraints.
• Guide staff through testing processes across pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases.
• Offer problem-solving support and escalation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
