Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science.
• Four years of laboratory experience in a high complexity laboratory.
• Preferred: two to four years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Certification: Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP or AMT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor laboratory activities and staff to ensure timely, accurate test results.
• Oversee specimen handling, testing policies, and turnaround times to support patient care.
• Coach and guide staff on procedures, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Maintain lab safety program and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Schedule staffing plans to support operations and patient care.
