Qualifications

• Laboratory experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong computer skills; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work within a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Understanding and adherence to patient data handling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports collection, processing, analysis and reporting of lab tests.
• Uses LIS for registering and logging specimens and documentation.
• Labels specimens accurately using two patient identifiers.
• Maintains testing workflows and data integrity for timely turnaround.
• Restocks supplies and participates in department projects as assigned.
