Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking an Inventory Kitting Specialist for the Weekend shift in Huntsville, AL to support the manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components. Overtime may be required as dictated by business needs.

The role includes cycle counting, stocking components, fulfilling material requests, and assembling kits for manufacturing, delivery and pickup, using corporate accounting software while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED with at least one year of inventory control experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work independently or in a team.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counting.
• Stocking and tracking of components.
• Fulfilling requests for materials.
• Performing inventory actions using corporate accounting software.
• Assembling of kits for manufacturing, delivery and pickup of material.
• Component serialization/marking.
• Supporting materials audits, material handling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
