Job summary

Jay Group in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Inventory Specialist for a Weekend Plus Shift (Fri-Mon 5:00am-3:00pm) to manage warehouse inventory and ensure accuracy across transactions and counts.

Responsibilities include overseeing receipts, adjustments, cycle counts, and regular audits; coordinating storage to prevent damage; using inventory software and forklift equipment; and reporting discrepancies for resolution. Strong data accuracy and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• Three to five years in a higher-level inventory control role preferred.
• Forklift or warehouse equipment certification preferred.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail while entering data.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory transactions (receipts, adjustments, movements).
• Coordinate and maintain proper storage to prevent damage or loss.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Generate and review inventory reports and provide insights.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure policy compliance.
• Improve processes for inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete daily cycle counts and special count requests as needed.
• Reconcile discrepancies and update SKU information.
• Verify lots/expiration information and pull products as needed.
• Report large discrepancies to IC team with supporting docs.
• Participate in physical inventories, including after hours.
