Job summary

Qualifications

• College level reading, writing and math skills.
• Basic knowledge of abnormal psychology and mental health terms.
• Familiarity with psychological, sociological, and medical terminologies.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate information.

Responsibilities

• Responds to telephone and face-to-face inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about services.
• Documents calls and related information on TRIMS form and enters data into TRIMS automated system.
• Stays current with organization's programs and services.
• Supports organization's customer service philosophy.
• Assists Director in training activities and other special projects as assigned.
• Establishes positive working relationships with staff and referral sources.
• Answers and responds to incoming telephone calls.
• Complies with department policies and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
