Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders, helping patients maximize independence and achieve recovery goals.

The role involves supervising rehab staff, planning patient-centered SLP interventions, and documenting progress in a fast-paced clinical setting. Requires Master’s in SLP and active state licensure; BLS is also required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Applicable state license for Speech Language Pathology required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises rehab staff and volunteers involved in care delivery.
• Evaluates patients and creates care plans for SLP interventions.
• Gathers and interprets data from records, physicians, patients and families for planning.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes, and charges.
• Re-evaluates patients and updates goals as status changes.
