Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for Fri–Sun 6am–6pm. Provide technical support in injection molding, assist with mold installation/removal, set up processes, troubleshoot issues, and document changes to ensure quality parts.

The role requires at least three years in a medium-volume molding environment, knowledge of molding machines, and the ability to interpret part data. Strong teamwork and PC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in a medium-volume injection molding environment.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, machines, materials and auxiliaries.
• Experience installing molds and adjusting processes to resolve quality issues.
• Ability to interpret plastic part measurement data.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, plus PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Support production and engineering projects as directed by Engineers and Supervisors.
• Install and remove molds in injection molding machines.
• Set up, adjust, and optimize molding processes to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and perform material or process changes as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of mold processing and change activities.
• Interpret measurement data and communicate results to the team.
• Follow quality control systems for molded parts.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and process qualifications.
• Additional duties and overtime may be required.
