Job summary

Vertical Converting dba Sierra Hygiene Products in Frostburg, MD, is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic for the weekend 1st shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 am–6:30 pm) at the Cumberland plant.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on tissue and packaging equipment, machine repair, asset management, and occasional changeovers, with a required high school diploma and 4+ years of direct maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• US work authorization.
• Must read/write and comprehend basic English.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Experience with computerized maintenance system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular preventive maintenance, observations, and inspections on production equipment.
• Machine repair and troubleshooting.
• Asset management - regularly review, order and adjust spare parts inventory.
• Assist operations at times, with changeovers and equipment operations.
• Work flexible hours as needed.
