Job summary

Crown is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for weekend shifts at our Greencastle, IN facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems with emphasis on safety and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate can troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related equipment. Strong candidate will have a high school diploma (2-year technical degree or 5 years experience preferred) and be comfortable working 1st–3rd shifts with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree or 5 years relevant experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance in a factory setting.
• Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols when working on Crown property.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems across facilities.
• Troubleshoot machinery using testing equipment and manuals; provide remote support.
• Read electrical & mechanical drawings to support repairs.
• Document maintenance activities using the CMMS; manage PMs and parts inventory.
• Operate lift equipment and cranes; train new staff.
• Willing to train on/off-site with manufacturers.
