Job summary

Crown Holdings is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to sustain and improve our electrical systems in a Toledo, OH coil coating plant. You will perform preventive and corrective work on production machinery, read schematics, and ensure safe, compliant operation across the line.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial electrician experience, strong PLC and motor control knowledge, and familiarity with CMMS for documenting activities. OT and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with CMMS for scheduling and documentation.
• Must pass pre-employment testing.
• Safety compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems for production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair issues on automated equipment including PLCs and VFDs.
• Install and maintain wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components per NEC and OSHA standards.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints to plan repairs.
• Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support continuous production operations.
• Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and comply with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.
• Performs other job‑related duties as required.
