Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment. You will edit PLC programs, diagnose issues, and support upgrades while ensuring safety compliance and productive operations.

The role requires 6–10 years in manufacturing, a strong mechanical/electrical background, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with Windows Office. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems and devices within the plant.
• Knowledge and solid understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Edit PLC programming
• Diagnose component issues
• Assist in new installations and upgrades of plant equipment
• Conduct process checks as required
• Perform regular safety inspections to ovens
• Work with and lead outside contractors as needed to complete projects or various plant maintenance functions
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized
• Assist and support other production floor operations as required
• Keep Supervisors and Managers informed of operational status of equipment
• Complete all administrative tasks, including logbooks, data entry and record keeping
• Mandatory Overtime as required
