Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Greencastle, IN is seeking an Equipment Service Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems across our facility. The role supports multiple shifts with potential overtime.

You will apply strong technical knowledge and safety craftsmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reading schematics, and using control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; a 2-year technical degree or 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols on Crown property.
• Install electrical and mechanical systems across facilities.
• Troubleshoot machinery using testing equipment, manuals, and remote support.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings to support repairs.
• Use PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs for troubleshooting.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Operate lift trucks and related equipment.
• Train new department personnel.
