Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 3 for weekend days in Vermont. You will perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment to support Sheridan's goals, operating with a high degree of independence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience, with mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read schematics, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Mechanical and electrical skills required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment.
• General knowledge of building trades.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Complete emergency repairs and preventive or routine maintenance of production and facility equipment.
• Support overall company goals by performing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Respond to overtime and on-call needs as required.
