Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Inbound Clerk to coordinate domestic and international loads and manage yard operations. You’ll maintain clear communication with clients, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely receiving workflows and accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, proactivity, and problem solving while adhering to bill of lading procedures and maintaining organized records. Experience in a distribution environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Distribution Center or Manufacturing experience is preferred; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Outlook for daily communication.
• Excellent communication skills: reading, writing, speaking fluently in English.
• Must have good attendance, be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
• Adaptable to new assignments with overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule Domestic and International loads.
• Manage Yard Management workflow for all container and trailer logs.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and vendors to drive receiving workflows.
• Track shipments and report discrepancies to service delivery team.
• Ensure proof of deliveries are properly filed and available for shipments.
• Follow bill of lading procedures for all documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues, overages, shortages, and damages.
