Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital is seeking an Imaging Technologist II to perform a wide range of imaging exams (x-ray and sonography) on patients, under supervision of Radiology leadership. The role supports 24/7/365 imaging services across facilities and may involve call rotations.

Requires ARRT licensure with IEMA and additional advanced ARRT certification, or ARDMS RDMS with SPI exam and a specialty. The position is full time, based in Gibson City, IL, with a salary range of $28.00–$50.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered technologist holding a license by IEMA and an advanced ARRT certification in Mammography, CT, MRI, Quality Management, Bone Densitometry, Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, or Vascular Interventional Radiography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) after passing the ARDMS SPI Examination and one specialty examination.

Responsibilities

• Shows and proves competencies on imaging equipment including x-ray, MR, mammography, and ultrasound units.
• Performs requested exams in a reasonable timeframe with high quality.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity and adheres to HIPAA policies.
• Maintains equipment and PACS paperwork; participates in quality assurance.
