Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services is seeking an Imaging Technologist II to perform a broad range of radiologic exams, including x-ray and sonography, across facilities within the Gibson Area network. The role requires ARRT-registered credentials or ARDMS with specialty in ultrasound, CT, MRI, or mammography, with extensive emphasis on safety and patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered technologist with an active IEMA license and at least one advanced ARRT certification in Mammography, CT, MRI, or related area.
• Alternatively, ARDMS SPI plus one specialty examination to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of x-ray and sonography exams with high quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety principles; maintain patient privacy and dignity.
• Operate MR, mammography, ultrasound units and related equipment; ensure proper documentation in PACS.
• Cross-train for non-tech duties; assist others and manage exam paperwork accurately.
