Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking an Ultrasound/Radiology technologist in Herrin, IL. The role involves performing ultrasound and radiography exams, operating PACS and EMR systems, and maintaining IV/contrast competency while following proper positioning and radiation safety protocols.
Candidates should have an Associate degree or certificate in Radiology/Ultrasound, be registry eligible (RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT) and hold a current BLS.

Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Ultrasound department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service.
Associates degree in Radiology/Ultrasound/Ultrasound or Certificate Program in Radiology/Ultrasound
Licenses and Certification (Excluding Breast Center locations): 1 of the following RDMS registered or registry eligible Registry eligible must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire ARRT (S) or ARRT (VS) registered CCI registered BLS Must be vascular certified with RVT, RVS, ARRT(VS), CCI within one year of hire
Licenses and Certifications (Breast Center locations only): 1 of the following RDMS registered or registry eligible Registry eligible must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire ARRT (BS) or ARRT (M) registered - Registered in Mammography within 6 months BLS IEMA – Radiography
