Job summary

A specialist service provider in Charlotte seeks caring individuals for a part-time weekend role in Residential IDD Care. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication monitoring, and providing recreational support to adults with developmental disabilities. Applicants must possess strong verbal skills, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience working with the I/DD population, either paid or volunteer, must be verifiable.
• A valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities.
• Document activities and help residents develop social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Drive a full-size passenger van.
