Pay: $37,000 - $42,000 per year

Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates the Environmental Services Department to maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control the activities of the EVS department
• Ensure supplies are available for staff to complete their assignments daily
• Monitor employee time and attendance
• Validate and document terminal cleaning regularly
• Complete Bed Report each morning and effectively communicate bed availability and room readiness
• Adjust staffing patterns in accordance with hospital census
• Monitor linen distribution on the units, adjusting delivery counts in accordance with hospital census
• Monitor work performance and prepare reviews and/or evaluations for assigned personnel

Requirements:

• US High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant field of study preferred
• Knowledge of all environmental services procedures, applicable laws, and government regulations
• Previous Environmental Services managerial experience required
