Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates the Environmental Services Department to maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organize, and control the activities of the EVS department.
2. Ensure supplies are available for staff to complete their assignments daily.
3. Monitor employee time and attendance.
4. Validate and document terminal cleaning regularly.
5. Complete Bed Report each morning and effectively communicate bed availability and room readiness.
6. Adjust staffing patterns in accordance with hospital census.
7. Monitor linen distribution on the units, adjusting delivery counts in accordance with hospital census.
8. Monitor work performance and prepare reviews and/or evaluations for assigned personnel.

Requirements:

1. US High School diploma or equivalent required.
2. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.
3. Knowledge of all environmental services procedures, applicable laws, and government regulations.
4. Previous Environmental Services managerial experience required.
